Job Summary
Weekend Independent Living Activities Assistant provides primary weekend programming leadership and weekday coverage to sustain seven-day-per-week activities for residents. Responsibilities include facilitating scheduled programming, supporting the Activities Director with outings and daily engagement, driving the community bus for excursions, coordinating event setup and decor, updating Sagely and producing newsletters, and collaborating on storytelling and marketing of events. The role emphasizes resident connection, inclusivity, and safe, organized programming across physical, social, creative, and intellectual activities. Residency within the state of the community is a condition of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in senior living or activities programming preferred
- Ability to drive community bus and accompany residents on outings
- Strong communication and relation-building skills
- Ability to coordinate events and updates in Sagely and Viva Engage
