Job Summary
Weekend Registered Nurse role providing patient care within Mercy's hospital units. Requires RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure, nursing program graduate, and certifications such as ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/PEARS/C-EFM as required by unit. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for shifts; responsibilities include coordinating patient care with other departments and applying nursing process.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking
- Certifications: ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/PEARS/C-EFM (as required by unit) and other unit-specific certifications
- Ability to perform clinical duties and provide patient care
- Ability to meet state board of nursing requirements
