Job Summary
Weekend Home Health Intake Coordinator manages the complete intake and referral process for home health admissions, including insurance verification, payer guidelines, and regulatory requirements. The role serves as a liaison between referral sources, physicians, payors, and internal clinical teams to support timely admissions. Responsibilities include reviewing referrals for completeness and accuracy, verifying insurance eligibility and authorizations, obtaining orders and documentation (including face-to-face), coordinating with hospitals, offices, and marketing, and entering referrals into Home Care Home Base (HCHB) or similar systems. The position requires coverage of a Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon schedule with remote work on Saturdays and Sundays and onsite presence on Fridays and Mondays; compensation is $25-$30 per hour based on experience, with benefits and opportunities for growth.
