Job Summary
Conduct personal care, hygiene, and meal preparation for clients while managing light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation. Accompany clients on outings, provide companionship, and ensure all care plans are followed with accurate documentation and charting. Work a predictable 30-hour weekend schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) across the Greater Vancouver Area, utilizing access to a smartphone and internet for communication. Maintain current CPR/First Aid training and a valid Vulnerable Sector check. Join Qualicare Homecare BC to support individuals with medical illnesses and age-related complications through dedicated, flexible shifts ranging from two to twelve hours.
Required Qualifications
- Full, reliable availability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (30 hours/week)
- Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
- Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
- CRC for Vulnerable Sector (valid for 5 years) or willingness to obtain
- Ability to travel around Greater Vancouver Area
- Access to Internet/smart phone with data
