Job Summary
Weekend Facilities Operations Technician at Wentworth Senior Living in Portsmouth, NH, responsible for building maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry), custodial and groundskeeping, apartment turnover preparation, and life-safety compliance. Requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of general building maintenance experience; working knowledge of building systems; strong problem-solving and independent-work skills; and good communication, with a focus on senior residents. Schedule is Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at $21.00-$23.00/hour plus a $4.00/hour weekend differential. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or skilled trade certification preferred.
- 2+ years of general building maintenance experience, preferably in residential, healthcare, or senior living environments.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; sensitivity to the needs of older adults.
