Job Summary
Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides assistance with daily living skills and personal growth for individuals with developmental disabilities in group-home settings. Two 12-hour weekend days are required: Saturdays and Sundays from 6am to 6pm, with bonus pay for commitment. Duties include helping with bathing, dressing, meals, cleaning, transportation to activities and medical appointments, and supporting participation in community activities. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Ohio driver’s license, ability to lift and assist individuals, and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Paid training is provided. Offered pay is $19.00 per hour base with weekend/night shift differential, plus benefits including medical, life insurance, retirement matching, paid time off, and other employee programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Ohio Driver's License with 5 or fewer points
- Must have sufficient physical strength to lift and assist individuals
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Previous direct care experience preferred
