Job Summary
Weekend Direct Care Farm & Greenhouse Recovery Support Staff responsibilities include farm chores for plants and animals on weekends (feeding, watering, landscaping projects). Engage residents in weekend chores. Responsibilities include caring for animals (chickens, ponies, sheep, dogs, rabbits, cats, geese, ducks, goats), watering greenhouses, checking heating/cooling systems, gardening, and completing landscaping tasks. Part-time hours: Friday 1–5 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8 am–5 pm. Starting pay $17 per hour, with increases based on experience. Benefits include retirement plan with company match and free meals on shift.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years or older to operate CooperRiis vehicles and equipment and to be covered under CooperRiis Insurance
- Experience working on a farm or garden setting
- Ability to work in various weather, be moving, lifting, and bending for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds consistently
- Ability to operate farm machinery such as tractors, large mowers
- Part Time availability on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays is required
