Job Summary
Conduct inpatient care and case workups for complex medical and surgical cases across a diverse caseload serving approximately 40 local practices. Manage emergency cases independently within a supportive team environment, working alongside up to three other vets per shift with full support from RVNs, ACAs, and receptionists. Deliver 2 x 12-hour shifts every other weekend or flexible rotations, utilizing advanced facilities including a CT scanner, endosurgery, and dedicated orthopaedic and exotic theatres.
Required Qualifications
- ECC Veterinary Surgeon
- substantial ECC experience
- confidence managing emergency cases independently
- supportive team environment
- strong clinical decision-making skills
- 2 x 12-hour shifts every other weekend
- average 12 hours per week
- flexibility for 1 x 12-hour shift every other week
- flexibility for 2 x 12-hour shifts every fourth weekend
- Bank holiday requirements would reduce pro rata
