Job Summary
Prepare food for residents, guests, and employees according to menus and standard recipes; plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions; cook and prepare food for planned events; assist other kitchen staff; ensure freshness, proper seasoning, and safe handling; stock and clean the station between shifts; communicate shortages or outages to supervision; maintain sanitary practices, follow safety and fire/disaster plans, and uphold resident dignity and privacy; work part-time, every other weekend, 9:30am–6pm in Southwick, MA, with standing for long periods and occasional travel between locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school
- A minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training
- Good communication skills
