Job Summary
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC programming problems on production equipment, including Allen Bradley ladder logic and variable frequency drives. Observe installed systems to detect hazards, trace issues using pneumatic and hydraulic components, and document repairs via the Enterprise Asset Management work order system. Perform motor troubleshooting on servo, DC, and induction motors while maintaining program backups and documenting set-points. Transition from day shift training to the Friday–Sunday evening schedule, collaborating with the Custom Equipment Process Group on machine improvements and providing cross-plant PLC support.
Required Qualifications
- 2-years experience in a closely related role
- Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses
- Enterprise Asset Management software experience
- ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs proficiently
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical-related field
