Job Summary
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC control problems on production equipment, including ladder logic programming with Allen Bradley platforms. Analyze installed systems to detect hazards, trace issues using pneumatic and hydraulic components, and perform repairs or program changes to ensure production reliability. Document all work in the Enterprise Asset Management system and maintain backups of device programs. Set up variable frequency drives, operate servo motors, and evaluate newly installed equipment under actual operating conditions. Collaborate with the Custom Equipment Process Group on machine improvements and assist maintenance staff with plant-wide electrical troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 2-years experience in a closely related role
- Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses
- Enterprise Asset Management software experience
- ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs proficiently
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical-related field
