Job Summary
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC control problems on production equipment, including analyzing systems for hazards and performing necessary repairs or programming changes. Proficiently use ladder logic programming with the Allen Bradley platform, trace issues using pneumatic and hydraulic components, and maintain backups of device programs. Document repairs and preventative maintenance through the work order system, check newly installed equipment under operating conditions, and configure variable frequency drive operations. Collaborate with technical staff and the Custom Equipment Process Group on machine improvements while assisting maintenance with plant-wide electrical troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 2-years experience in a closely related role
- Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses
- Enterprise Asset Management software experience
- ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs proficiently
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical-related field
