Job Summary
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC control problems on production machines, including analyzing equipment for hazards and performing necessary repairs. Proficiently use ladder logic programming on the Allen Bradley platform to document repairs via the work order system while tracing issues across pneumatic and hydraulic components. Maintain program backups, check newly installed equipment under operating conditions, and configure variable frequency drives and servo motors. Discuss performance improvements with technical staff and collaborate with the Custom Equipment Process Group on machine enhancements. Train on the day shift for up to two months before transitioning to the evening schedule from Friday to Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- 2-years experience in a closely related role
- Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses
- Enterprise Asset Management software experience
- ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite programs proficiently
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical-related field
