Job Summary
Maintain continuous weekend CNC production by monitoring machine performance, making offsets and adjustments, and overseeing Swiss lathes, CNC lathes, and mills. Run jobs on stainless steel and titanium materials while reading blueprints, performing setups and tool changes, and troubleshooting as needed. Inspect finished parts to ensure tight tolerances and keep the work environment clean and safe. Communicate production issues to day shift and leadership throughout the Fri-Sun shift. This role supports a precision manufacturing company specializing in prototype machining for high-tolerance components in firearms and specialty equipment industries.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Experience working with Swiss lathes, CNC lathes, and mills
- Experience machining stainless steel, titanium, or other hard metals
- Ability to work independently on the weekend shift
- Strong understanding of tolerances and precision machining
- Comfortable working in a prototype / short-run environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Must be available for weekend shift
- Must be able to work Fri-Sun
