Weekend Certified Nursing Assistant *Daytime Hours*

Job Summary
Provide resident care to assigned patients in accordance with care plans and nursing policies during daytime weekend hours. Coordinate care with licensed staff for supply deliveries and triage visits as needed. Work independently with end-of-life patients while collaborating with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers. Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to drive to patient locations. This role supports Suncrest Hospice's mission to improve quality of life by increasing clinical visits and lowering clinician caseloads. The position offers flexible shift options for every weekend or every other weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with our community organizations in patient care
- Ability to work well within a team environment to collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership
- Eager to gain higher level of opportunities such as certifications and further education
- Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care team
- Able to work independently and on your own from a day-to-day basis
- Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state(s) of practice
- Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in the state(s) of practice
