Job Summary
Provide attentive personal care and support in a private home setting, assisting clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility. Support safe transfers, ambulation, and fall-prevention practices while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment through light housekeeping and laundry. Prepare meals to encourage proper nutrition and hydration, offer companionship to clients with dementia or Alzheimer's, and observe changes in condition to report to the nursing team. Complete documentation accurately and communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team. No medication administration is permitted; medication reminders only.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA license or certified 75hr or 120hr Home Health Aide
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Hands-on CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- TB test within the last 6 months or chest X-ray within the last 5 years
- Level 2 AHCA background screening, or willingness to complete
- Strong hands-on care skills and good judgment in a home setting
- Professional communication, attention to detail, and dependable attendance
- Ability to provide consistent, compassionate care to clients and families
