Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one personal care for seniors in their homes, assisting with ambulation, hygiene, and physical therapy while performing light housekeeping and meal preparation. Collect medical information from caregivers and report incidents to nurses, doctors, and families. Act quickly and responsibly during emergencies and maintain strict adherence to CDC health and safety standards. Requires current CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and physical endurance. Offers flexible weekend shifts with direct deposit, health benefits, and paid dementia training.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, including those outlined by the CDC in relation to COVID-19
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
