Job Summary
Weekend Caregiver wanted to serve Quad Cities area (Davenport, Bettendorf, Muscatine and surrounding areas) with flexible Full/Part-time shifts including 8- and 12-hour options and PRN; duties include personal care and hygiene, mobility support, meal planning, light housekeeping, companionship, medication reminders, emergency response, shopping assistance, and transporting clients. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license with personal vehicle, strong communication skills, and First Aid training. Opportunities for advanced dementia/Alzheimer’s care training; benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, holiday pay, direct deposit, and weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response (provided if needed)
- Have excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties
- Willing to comply with health and safety standards (e.g., background check)
- Compassion, understanding, and desire to brighten the day of each client
