Job Summary
Weekend Caregiver provides companionship and in-home support to seniors in the Tyler area, performing light housekeeping, meal preparation, mobility assistance, medication help, and transportation; opportunity for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care; requires 2 years caregiving experience, valid driver’s license, vehicle with insurance, and a high school diploma; shifts include part-time options and a variety of hours (8/10/12 hour shifts, PRN, weekend, day shifts); benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, PPE, holiday pay, sign-on bonus, weekly pay, continuing education, and other perks. Required Qualifications
- 2 Years Previous Caregiving Experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Vehicle with current Insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
