Job Summary
Conduct personal care, hygiene, and mobility assistance for clients across the Quad Cities area. Plan meals, handle light housekeeping, and accompany clients on shopping trips while managing prescriptions and emergency responses. Provide companionship and support during appointments, adhering to custom care plans and dietary constraints. Maintain a valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle to transport clients to homes in Eldridge, Davenport, and surrounding regions. Complete required first aid training and comply with state health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Car Insurance
- Reliable Personal Vehicle
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response
- Excellent time-management skills
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
- Confidence in physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
- Comfort performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
- Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
