Job Summary
Weekend Caregiver responsibilities include assisting with transferring/moving clients, housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping/mopping, dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, bathroom cleaning), meal preparation, accompanying clients to errands or medical appointments, bathing/showering/dressing/shaving, medication reminders, ROM exercises, dementia care, and providing companionship such as reading, music, and puzzles. Requires high school diploma or GED (preferred), ability to lift 50 lbs, English proficiency, valid driver’s license, and background check; CNA/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide certification preferred. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
- Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- Pass a background check
- CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
