Job Summary
Weekend caregiver needed in Fort Myers to support a 16-year-old male with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include supervising activities, companionship, assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation and light cleaning, ensuring safety, accompanying to social events/community outings (e.g., grocery shopping, appointments), promoting communication, independence and socialization, and completing daily progress notes. Role is offered on an independent contractor basis with pay of $16 per hour. Schedule is 7 hours per week, flexible to Saturday or Sunday. Requirements: valid driver’s license, ability to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening, at least 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training, High School diploma or equivalent, and 18+ years old. Location: Fort Myers, FL, USA.
