Job Summary
Weekend Caregiver (Home Health Aide) for Visiting Angels — provide one-on-one daily living assistance and care to clients on weekends, including safely transferring clients, helping with bathing/grooming, mobility support, changing linens, light laundry, medication reminders, and documenting care notes. Engage clients with reading, reminiscence, or simple chair-exercises; monitor health with basic vitals/observations and relay changes to the RN or Care Supervisor. Requires completion of an accredited HHA program (or equivalent); CHHA path available if not yet certified. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, plus strong written/verbal communication skills and comfortable keeping digital care logs. Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) program (or equivalent)
- If not certified, CHHA program available and can become Certified Home Health Aide in 6 weeks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable updating digital care logs
- Genuine desire to foster trust and dignity for clients
