Job Summary
Caregiver needed to provide physical care and emotional support to a client in Takoma Park, MD. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, accompanying the client to appointments, assisting with medications, meal preparation, and general living needs. Personal services may include bathing, grooming, catheter/incontinence care, wound care, and repositioning. Must have 1 year of Home Health Care experience, a high school diploma or GED, pass a criminal background check, and hold CPR/First Aid certification. Must be physically able to lift and assist the client (up to 220 lbs) and endure prolonged standing/bending. Weekend schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Flexible, independent work culture with referral bonuses; temp-to-perm opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year minimum experience in Home Health Care
- High school diploma or GED
- Criminal Background check
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification
- Physical ability to lift and assist up to 220 lbs
- Experience with clients who have paralysis
