Job Summary
Deliver a full range of nursing care to residents and their families, including completing initial, comprehensive, and ongoing assessments to determine medical needs. Write, initiate, and revise the plan of care as needed while administering medications and treatments per prescription. Maintain accurate clinical notes regarding resident conditions and care provided, ensuring confidentiality of all resident information. Promote a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment in accordance with guidelines and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- RN with current licensure to practice in the state
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable nursing principles and practices to ensure the quality of care standards for residents
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be available for weekend AM shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
- Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
- Behavioral care / memory care experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
