Weekend Activity Assistant (LOOM)

Job Summary
Host daily activities and interactive sessions for residents, transport residents using the community vehicle, educate and encourage team members on personalized activity opportunities, welcome residents on move-in, plan and decorate for events, document attendance and photos, ensure compliance with residents’ rights, participate in training, and perform other duties as assigned. Requires a compassionate approach to senior care, ability to connect with residents, and a valid driver’s license for transporting residents.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role
- degree in psychology or kinesiology preferred but not mandatory
- valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- strong communication skills
- tech-savvy with basic computer skills
- residency within the state where the community operates is a condition of employment
