Job Summary
Weekend Senior Living Activity Assistant responsible for hosting daily activities and interactive sessions for residents, transporting residents using the community vehicle, educating and supporting staff on personalized activity opportunities, welcoming new residents, planning events, and documenting attendance and daily activities (including photographs). Requires compassionate service in senior care, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license; degree in psychology or kinesiology is preferred but not mandatory. Training and continuous learning are encouraged; position includes compliance with residents’ rights and opportunities for professional growth. Office/locations: Flagstaff, AZ; in-person role within Civitas Senior Living community. Residency in-state required for employment.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role
- valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- strong communication skills
- tech-savvy: basic understanding of computer programs
- experience in senior care or activity planning (preferred)
- degree in psychology or kinesiology preferred but not mandatory
