Job Summary
Operate CNC machining centers, robotic HMI controls, and overhead crane hoists to handle, setup, and clear assigned manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot part fit-up issues, diagnose system functions, and perform minor repairs or preventive maintenance as required. Conduct quality checks on parts and components while monitoring production processes to suggest improvements and optimize efficiency. Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to resolve technical support needs and ensure adherence to production schedules. Train new employees on equipment operation and safety protocols. Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with industry regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Previous experience with hand tools and measuring devices
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills regarding part sensing fixtures/clamps
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong machine systems knowledge
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and understand maintenance and repair instructions
- Basic math skills to utilize measuring equipment
- Ability to work in standing positions during work shift
- Ability to repetitively lift, maneuver, and load parts up to 50lbs
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Ability to wear required PPE
- Strong safety work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player and ability to lead team members
