Job Summary
Join Soccer Shots as a part-time Weekday Morning Youth Soccer Coach. Deliver Soccer Shots curriculum to children ages 2-10 across preschools, daycares, and community programs in Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Danville. Coach sessions 35 minutes to an hour, 3–15 sessions weekly, 8:30 am–1:00 pm, with a 9–12 week season. Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons, maintaining equipment, managing rosters, arriving early, providing a positive customer experience to daycare staff, directors, and parents, and participating in training and evaluations. Must have a high school diploma or GED minimum (ECE units or Soccer Coach experience bonus), valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and pass FBI/DOJ Live Scan background checks. Weekday positions are complemented by optional Saturday mornings; compensation is $23+ per session. Candidates should be enthusiastic, patient, creative, reliable, and comfortable working with children, with soccer knowledge preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED minimum
- 12 accredited ECE units in Early Childhood Development (ECE) OR Soccer Coach experience (bonus)
- Must pass a Live Scan background check (FBI & DOJ clearance)
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Timely and professional communication
- Ability to work with children ages 2-10
- Soccer knowledge or experience preferred but not required
- Schedule availability 8:30 am - 1 pm weekdays, 3-15 sessions/week, 9-12 week season
- Part-time commitment for season
- Positive coaching and curriculum delivery
