Job Summary
Weekday Midday Dog Walker for Passionately Pets — an in-home pet sitting and dog walking company. Responsibilities include visiting client homes to walk and care for dogs (15-30 minute visits), feeding, ensuring water, monitoring for accidents or damage, cleaning up incidents, and communicating with management. Requires a Northern VA residence within 7 miles of 22301 (Alexandria area), availability for a minimum of two consecutive hours between 10 AM and 3 PM Monday-Friday, reliable personal transportation, a smartphone with data, strong attention to detail, dependability, punctuality, self-management, and excellent written/verbal communication. Must be comfortable with dogs and cats and able to work outdoors in all weather. Part-time, supplemental income with compensation $24-$28 per hour plus tips, paid per visit. Required Qualifications
- Must have your own, reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this role
- Must have your own reliable Smart Phone with internet access and data plan
- Must be extremely detail oriented
- Able to follow detailed instructions
- Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable
- Must be timely and punctual
- Must be able to self-manage
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be compassionate about animals
- Must feel comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large animals
- Must be willing to walk and drive in all weather conditions
- Must be able to make at least a 1 year commitment, however longer is preferred
- Must be able to pass criminal background check
- Stay active in the outdoors with a flexible schedule
- This is a Part Time SUPPLEMENTAL INCOME position
