Job Summary
Wedgwood Middle School Principal for ACE program leading instructional turnaround and campus improvement. Oversees instructional leadership, data-informed decision making, equity-focused practices, recruitment and development of teachers, PLCs, and a strong campus culture aligned with FWISD goals. Requires a Master's Degree in Education (or related field) and Texas Principal Mid-Management certification, with 3 years of principal experience and urban-school experience preferred. Reports to the Executive Director – Middle School Leadership; annual salary around $145,000.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Education or a directly related field required
- Valid Texas Mid-Management or Principal Certification required
- Out of state applicants must be currently certified from another state, attach a copy of your valid certification and become Texas Certified prior to being hired
- T-TESS and T-PESS Certification required
- Principal experience required; 3 years preferred
- 3 years' successful teaching experience required
- Experience in Urban schools with diverse populations preferred
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred in some settings
