Job Summary
Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage a portfolio of larger, more complex commercial accounts, lead renewal cycles, advise on exposures and risk management, provide excellent client service, identify cross-sell opportunities, and work with underwriters to negotiate terms; requires university/college credential in business or related field, NL P&C licence, CAIB (preferred), 3–5+ years of mid-to-large commercial lines experience, and proficiency with Applied Epic and Microsoft 365; remote work capability available after training; located in St. John’s, NL with hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma in Business or a relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- NL P&C Level 1 licence required; Level 2 or 3 preferred
- CAIB designation completed or actively in progress
- 3–5+ years of commercial lines P&C experience with complex accounts
- Experience with mid-market or larger commercial accounts
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel)
- Applied Epic proficiency, or willingness to learn
- Ability to manage renewal cycles, advise on exposures and risk management
- Strong client relationship skills and communication abilities
- Hybrid remote work capability after training and probationary period
