Job Summary
Plan and execute superior weddings and social events, ensuring all arrangements meet client needs. Serve as the main point of contact for clients via phone and email, coordinate end-to-end event logistics including tours, pre-planning visits, menu tastings, rehearsals, and wedding-day details. Maintain exemplary client service and integrity, stay current with trends to craft memorable experiences, convert prospective clients through on-site visits and proactive communication, oversee vendor coordination and room sets, prepare event management documents (e.g., banquet event orders, invoices), manage deposits per contract, and work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed to support onsite programs. Build positive relationships across internal departments, attend sales and banquet meetings, and ensure successful execution of weddings and related events at Marriott International.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required
