Job Summary
Translate client business goals into technical sitemaps, user flows, and functional requirements while recommending the optimal tech stack. Manage the full website lifecycle from discovery to launch using Agile/Scrum methodologies, owning timelines, budgets, and launch readiness standards. Assist with basic HTML/CSS tweaks, content uploads, plugin configurations, and staging setup to keep projects moving efficiently. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, translating technical concepts like caching and responsiveness into clear business language. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and developers to ensure feasibility, resolve blockers, and manage scope changes effectively. Lead quality assurance across browsers and devices, ensuring websites are optimized for speed, responsiveness, and bug-free performance before launch.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript, with the ability to debug issues using browser developer tools
- Experience with platforms like WordPress (Elementor/Gutenberg), Webflow, Shopify, or headless CMS (Contentful, Strapi)
- Familiarity with hosting platforms (WP Engine, Vercel, AWS), DNS management (Cloudflare), and SSL setup
- Basic knowledge of technical SEO (site speed, schema markup) and experience setting up Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
- Proficiency in Figma for reviewing designs, extracting assets, and aligning with UX/UI requirements
- Strong experience using Jira, Linear, or Asana, along with documentation tools like Google Workspace
- 1–3+ years of project management experience in a digital agency or web-focused tech environment
- Proven experience managing end-to-end website builds (portfolio required)
- Strong technical literacy (APIs, databases, responsive design concepts)
- Excellent communication skills to manage clients and expectations effectively
- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on launch quality (e.g., redirects, SEO tags, performance checks)
