Job Summary
Website Manager based in Kyiv, Ukraine, will serve as the main liaison between the Center for Public Health and IT vendors for the EpiC Ukraine website project. Responsibilities include coordinating development, testing, and launch across teams; ensuring requirements, deliverables, timelines, and acceptance criteria are clear; overseeing QA and user acceptance testing; coordinating content management, hosting, security updates, backups, and ongoing maintenance; and providing user support for website operations. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5-8 years of server administration/IT experience, IT project management experience, proficiency in English and Ukrainian, expertise with Linux servers, Apache/Nginx, at least one CMS (Drupal/WordPress/Joomla), HTML/CSS/JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Linux CLI/SSH, hosting panels, security practices, backup/recovery, monitoring tools, CDN, and basic SEO/Web analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, MIS or related field
- 5-8 years of experience with server administration and networking functions
- Demonstrated IT project management experience and skills
- Professional proficiency in English; native/fluent Ukrainian
- Experience with Linux servers; Apache and/or Nginx web servers
- CMS experience with Drupal, WordPress, or Joomla; basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript; PHP and MySQL
- Experience with Linux CLI, SSH, and hosting panels (cPanel, ISPmanager, Plesk)
- Experience with website security, backups/recovery, and disaster recovery planning
- Experience with monitoring tools (UptimeRobot, Zabbix, Nagios) and CDN (Cloudflare)
- Understanding of SEO and web analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console)
