Job Summary
Own the corporate website strategy, roadmap, and backlog as the primary business owner, ensuring content, functionality, and user experience align with organisational objectives and brand standards. Establish governance processes, monitor performance for optimisation, and translate non-technical requirements from Marketing, Communications, IT, Legal, and other functions into clear deliverables. Manage the external website provider relationship, coordinate development activities and releases, and drive continuous improvement while balancing competing stakeholder demands through an agreed framework. Ensure compliance with security policies, GDPR/PECR, and accessibility standards, coordinating vulnerability remediation and risk mitigation with internal teams and the supplier. Prioritise the development backlog, manage projects from initiation to post-implementation review, and report on effectiveness using analytics tools and KPIs to senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a corporate website or digital platform
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and technology vendors
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa
- Understanding of website technologies, hosting environments, integrations, APIs, and content management systems
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and digital risk management
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and privacy regulations
- Experience prioritising competing demands and managing delivery roadmaps
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be available for hybrid working (in-office/home working mix)
- Must be able to adjust working hours as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within enterprise or multinational organisations
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) web analytics, and digital marketing principles
- Experience managing website migrations, redesigns, or major digital transformation initiatives
