Job Summary

Manage and optimize web content across Augsburg University and Luther Seminary properties by updating landing pages, program pages, and blog posts within the CMS. Apply SEO and AEO practices, monitor traffic and user behavior via Google Analytics 4, and conduct routine accessibility reviews to ensure compliance with WCAG standards. Collaborate with campus partners to translate departmental requests into clear, consistent content while maintaining brand standards and developing internal training resources. Coordinate with external vendors for hosting and accessibility services, manage institutional listings, and perform other duties as assigned by the Director.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution in Web Development, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in website content management, digital communications, web development, marketing, or a related area
  • Experience working with website Content Management Systems (CMS) and editing or publishing web content
  • Experience using Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms to monitor website performance
  • Working knowledge of web accessibility standards and digital accessibility principles
  • Basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Must live within a commutable distance, as they are required to attend in-person meetings and on-site organizational events as needed
  • This is subject to change and can be up to 2-3 days a week in the office

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, SEO/AEO practices, and web accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Experience using project management tools to coordinate and track web content requests
  • Experience developing CMS documentation, training materials, or user guides for non-technical users
  • Experience supporting web content in higher education, nonprofit, or other mission-driven organizations
