Job Summary

Receive audits and maintain documentation packets from Emergency Response Coordinators detailing highway property damage incidents, including reports, charges, and photographs. Initiate claims against offending parties, monitor requests for additional information, and arrange payment options with uninsured or underinsured individuals. Start small claims processes for unpaid claims and initiate bad debt write-offs. Document actions by accessing and entering data into an Excel Access database and assist in providing monthly reports for Project Administrators. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements to avoid legal challenges while prioritizing safety and accuracy in all work.

Required Qualifications

  • High School or GED
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Suite Software
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with leadership and staff across all functional areas of the business
  • Ability to prioritize and complete a high volume of work and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information
  • Innovation and creative problem solving skills

Desired Qualifications

  • 2 Years college
  • 3-5 years' experience
  • Insurance industry experience
