Job Summary
Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects (roads, bridges, tunnels) to ensure safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery. Oversee schedules, milestones, work planning (machinery, personnel, road closures), cost control, and resource allocation; supervise personnel hiring, training, and performance; coordinate with management, consultants, customers, and subcontractors; enforce safety standards to support a Zero Recordable Safety incidents culture; ensure compliance with contractual requirements and local, state, and federal regulations; plan crew activities and monitor equipment utilization; provide project managers with insights on schedule changes and resource needs. Requires 5-7 years of heavy civil construction experience, a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering (or equivalent), leadership and communication strengths, and proficiency in construction management software and MS Office. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5-7 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and tunnels
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in construction management software and MS Office
