Job Summary
Lead highway and bridge construction projects through completion, taking ownership of the project P&L and overall success. Maintain a safety-first mindset while managing field personnel, overseeing daily activities, and building positive communication with client representatives to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Provide overall leadership and accountability for heavy civil project delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, cash flow, and financial performance. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, owners, partners, and executive stakeholders, leading planning, procurement, contracting, and risk management strategies. Oversee permitting, regulatory compliance, and contractual requirements while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and delivering regular performance updates. Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and providing executive oversight of safety, quality, and environmental objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 7+ years of project management experience, including heavy civil projects
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, cost controls, contracts, and risk management
- Proven experience managing EPC project execution, procurement strategies, and owner, client, contractor, and consultant relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Knowledge of permitting, regulatory compliance, environmental requirements, and contract administration
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and client management skills
Desired Qualifications
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
