Job Summary
Operate motor grader to conduct rough grade work on new highways using GPS and laser controlled grading system; perform maintenance on grader (oil, grease, adjustments); adhere to safety policies; report unsafe activities; contribute to team goals; requires three+ years of heavy highway/civil construction experience; ability to communicate in English; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; work outdoors in varying weather conditions; position involves operating heavy equipment and moving on uneven terrain.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) or more years of heavy highway and civil construction as a Motor Grader Operator
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications
- Mathematical proficiency as it relates to basic geometry, algebra, and mathematics
- Move throughout a construction jobsite
- Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions
- Manual dexterity to handle items and operate equipment
