Job Summary
Leadman in heavy civil construction at Webber (Ferrovial) leading and supervising field crews on highway/water/utility projects. Responsible for safety-conscious leadership, interpreting blueprints/plans, ordering tools/equipment, and coordinating materials and staff to meet project goals. Requires experience managing dirt crews on highway projects, ability to communicate in English, and readiness for occasional travel. Demonstrates proficiency in supervising utility work (gravity sewer, sewer force main, storm drain, waterline), and working with owner representatives while maintaining a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience managing dirt crews on highway projects
- Lift, push, or pull and move up to seventy (70) pounds
- Climb, kneel, twist, and bend in various environments
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with fingers
- Demonstrated experience in utility work supervision to include gravity sewer, sewer force main, storm drain and waterline (NNWW preferably)
- Valid driver license for occasional travel
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
- Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions like rain, sun, snow, and wind
