Job Summary
Operate lattice and telescopic boom cranes to hoist and move materials, raise and lower heavy weights, and perform related crane-operator duties. Maintain safety by avoiding hazards and following policies, perform routine machine servicing as needed, and contribute to team goals in a heavy civil/waterworks construction environment. Requires crane operation certifications (NCCER/NCCCO), OSHA-recognized credentials, and a high school level education; outdoor, physically demanding work with exposure to weather. Based in Austin, TX with Webber (Ferrovial). Pre-employment screening (drug test, medical exam) and compliance with E-Verify and background checks are part of the process.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred
- Valid OSHA-recognized crane operator certification (NCCER, NCCCO)
- Minimum one year experience operating telescoping boom crane preferred but not required
- Ability to operate crane controls and perform related duties
- Ability to adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual tasks and operate in outdoor conditions
- Pre-employment screening including drug test, medical exam, and background check as applicable
