Job Summary
Inspect and service all project vehicles and equipment, detecting malfunctions and performing repairs or replacements using proper tools and testing machinery. Diagnose operational issues to recommend necessary parts changes or services, then place orders for spare parts to ensure timely procurement. Maintain accurate daily maintenance records and prepare cost estimates for service requests while ensuring all assets pass inspections and comply with provincial standards. This role requires a 310T certification, a valid driver's license, and at least five years of experience, with competitive pay ranging from $38 to $41 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 + years
- 310T Certification
- Driver's License in good standing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to detect malfunctions
- Sound understanding of using all repair tools, equipment and testing machinery
- Good understanding of current principles, techniques and practices used in repairing and maintaining vehicles
- Understanding of electronic/electrical and hydraulic systems used in vehicles
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Well versed in using technical service manuals
- Ability to interact with customers/employees
- Must be able to lift heavy loads
- Must be able to work outside
