Job Summary
Operate and maintain web presses and auxiliary equipment while interpreting color bars and star targets to control print quality. Program correct color standards into CPC systems to achieve color approval against proofs. Assist with press setup in coordination with other crew members, ensuring jobs meet customer specifications and internal deadlines. Perform routine preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and enforce safety regulations to reduce waste and downtime. Facilitate teamwork across shifts and maintain good housekeeping practices. Requires 3–5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator. Mittera provides commercial and digital printing, finishing, graphic design, and fulfillment services.
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator preferred
- Ability to lead and foster growth and development on the team
- Knowledgeable of press set-up and maintenance procedures
- Effective communications skills with all levels within the organization
- Has basic computer skills
- Must be self-motivated, reliable, and quality, safety oriented
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
