Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate third-shift pressroom teams by operating web presses, setting up equipment, and monitoring production to meet customer deadlines. Lead by example while promoting safety, quality, and accountability; troubleshoot mechanical and production issues, and train operators on proper procedures. Manage workflow prioritization, minimize material waste, and ensure accurate system documentation. Maintain a clean work environment and communicate operational updates to management. Assist with onboarding, performance coaching, and evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- Previous leadership, lead operator, or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of web press operation, setup, troubleshooting, and print quality standards
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets, production specifications, and work instructions
- Proven ability to prioritize work and manage multiple production demands
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members
- Working knowledge of manufacturing safety practices
- Ability to lift 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally
- Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity and coordination
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older
