Job Summary
Operate web presses during the second shift, including daily start-up, maintenance, safety checks, and shutdown procedures. Manage print unit, numbering, process, and delivery unit setups while performing quality inspections before, during, and after printing. Coordinate with internal agencies for materials such as ink, plate, paper, and tape. Ensure accuracy of printed material and maintain a clean, organized press environment. Lift up to 75 lbs on occasion and identify colors and imperfections in stock. Work Monday through Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm at a temperature-controlled Vericast facility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years offset/web printing experience
- Must be able to identify colors and imperfections
- Proven track record in waste reduction and profit improvement
- Lifting requirements: 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. on occasion
- High Mechanical Reasoning Expectations
- Must display excellent work habits
- Willingness to be a team player
- Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
- Hourly Pay Rate: $25.00+ Plus $1.75 Shift Differential + $0.50/hr wage increase eligible after 90 days
