Job Summary
Operate and maintain web presses and auxiliary equipment while guiding the crew to exceed production standards. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on assigned machinery, enforce safety protocols, and implement operational improvements. Direct team activities to ensure productivity and quality goals are met, including ongoing training and development of press operators. Assist supervisors in providing feedback for employee evaluations and facilitate teamwork across shifts. Ensure good housekeeping practices are followed throughout the facility. This leadership role supports Mittera's full-service printing, finishing, and fulfillment operations, connecting data-driven insights with expertly printed materials for customers.
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator preferred
- Ability to lead and foster growth and development on the team
- Knowledgeable of press set-up and maintenance procedures
- Effective communications skills with all levels within the organization
- Has basic computer skills
- Must be self-motivated, reliable, and quality, safety oriented
- The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
