Job Summary
Temporary full-time Web Development Student role supporting the launch and ongoing development of the corporate website. Will work with marketing to build and update pages using WordPress and the Divi theme builder, implement responsive front-end features with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, assist with content integration, testing, accessibility and performance improvements, collaborate with stakeholders on digital assets, perform cross-browser testing and QA, and document development work while seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Web Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Media, or recently graduated and looking for a short-term opportunity to enhance skillset
- Experience working with WordPress websites
- Experience using the Divi theme builder
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with React and modern front-end development practices
- Understanding of responsive web design principles
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
