Job Summary
Lead web application and API security engineering for a federal client, focusing on threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, and OWASP Top 10 compliance. Design, implement, and document enterprise engineering solutions while collaborating with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support operational readiness and modernization. Manage WAF/FIM, logs analysis, and DevSecOps gates, developing technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and implementation guidance. Participate in engineering reviews and reporting to drive continuous improvement. Requires 5+ years of secure software/AppSec experience, an active Top Secret security clearance, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years secure software/AppSec engineering
- 3+ years web application security/SSDLC
- OWASP, WAF, FIM, logs, CI/CD security, and scripting experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, engineering, or equivalent
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance
